I have tried many supplements to help my thyroid, and this one is great by far.This 30-day supply of thyroid support capsules by Dr. Scott is a neat find. I decided to give this a try as a prophylactic. After all, who doesn't want a healthy thyroid?It is hard to measure the results of a product such as this, particularly since I am not treating a particular problem, but it did feel like a positive step toward better health. It can often be attributed to lack of proper nutrition. Soils are becoming more and more depleted of necessary nutrients including iodine. Lack of iodine in the soil is worse away from the ocean where many crops are grown in America's Midwest. Fewer people use iodized salt on their food. This product is worth trying for anyone concerned about a sluggish thyroid, or who suspects they are not getting sufficient nutrition for their thyroid.Things that really caught my attention in the ingredient list include iodine, selenium, and zinc. Those are the big three for thyroid support according to my research. A whopping dose of vitamin B12 is also helpful. I seldom remember to get sufficient quantities of this vitamin that can supercharge your energy. Cayenne pepper also increase metabolism. I haven't noticed any stomach ills or burning from these capsules, in case anyone wonders how the cayenne might affect them. Deficiency in iodine can lead to the thyroid absorbing other elements that may not be healthy. That is why people take iodine pills following nuclear disasters.The price is fair considering all the carefully weighed ingredients included in one supplement. Many people focus only on iodine for their thyroid, but this product recognizes many other important factors included in the complex.Highly Recommended!I have hypothyroidism and these help with my symptoms! They really do make me feel better!It's very hard to rate the effectiveness of supplements, especially if they are not taken in isolation (I also take fish oil and immune support vitamins), but I haven't noticed any adverse reactions taking these. The capsules are easy to swallow with water (or beverage of your choice), and I do appreciate extra vitamins added to the formula. I did not, however, get the energy boost or any other positive changes to my wellbeing (that I notice when taking other thyroid supplements).These have been working so well for me.
